The best place to buy typical souvenirs is the Old Town. Shops and stands with souvenirs as well as paintings and drawings with images of Warsaw can be found in the squares: Plac Zamkowy (the Castle Square) and the Old Town Market Square (Rynek Starego Miasta) as well as in the streets leading to them: Świetojerska and Nowomiejska.

One of the best places to buy hand-painted pottery is the brand store of the "Boleslawiec" Ceramics Plant, 2 / 14 Prosta St., about a 15-minute walk from Central Station (1 km), at Rondo ONZ (ONZ Roundabout), open Mon to Fri from 10.00 to 18.00, Sat from 9.00 am to 15.00,
